Our client: Our client’s mission is to promote growth and development of young children who experience developmental delays by supporting and strengthening parents. This also includes acknowledging all families are unique and respected, families will make choices about services they receive, and that learning happens every day in the places the children live, play and with the people they care about. 

Are you interested in:
  • Assessing and intervening to implement strategies to assist in the growth and development of children birth through age three
  • Working in the home of families; performing home based services that involve parents in providing relationship-based social, nutritional, developmental and behavioral opportunities for their children
  • Work as a trans-disciplinary team member providing specific information to support the development and implementation of Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP)

You ideally possess:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with current license or Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a license to practice or able to obtain licensure
  • Ability to empathetically communicate understanding of the emotional factors that influence parents of children who experience a disability.
  • Ability to communicate diagnosis and report progress effectively in verbal and written form with both professional and lay people from diverse cultures.
  • Must have valid Alaska driver’s license and private, fully insured vehicle.
  • Required competency with laptop computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to independently control own workflow and actively contribute support to team members.
