Salary: $22-$26/hr


Will be responsible to assist in overseeing all general operations of the store, including but not limited to, inventory and stocking, ordering, receiving, and pricing, food and beverage services, janitorial duties, as well as other administrative responsibilities; oversee store location, departments and employees.

Are you interested in:
  • Being responsible to assist the Store Manager in overseeing all general operations of the store, including but not limited to; inventory and stocking, beverage services, janitorial duties, as well as additional administrative responsibilities
  • Assisting in the direction and coordination of store activities and employee tasks
  • Aiding in implementing policies and procedures in conjunction with leadership and staff members
  • Assisting the Store Manager in ordering and pricing as directed
  • Maintaining communication with corporate team and provides updates in a timely manner
  • Monitoring vendors to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits
  • Greeting all customers in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Being a role model to demonstrate appropriate professional behavior and display a positive service demeanor
  • Ensuring all merchandise received from vendors is Inspected and accounted for
  • Ensuring merchandise is stored where appropriate and can be easily found
  • Ensuring that storage/store temperatures remain within proscribed parameters
  • Ensuring that items are stocked regularly
  • Ensuring food and beverage service areas are stocked, staffed, and sanitary
  • Assisting staff in ensuring the store is clean (shelves, aisles, window/doors, counters, shopping baskets, etc)
  • Effectively handling employee requests and/or complaints
  • Effectively handling customer special orders and/or complaints
  • Assisting or filling all floor positions in the store as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

You ideally possess:
  • High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience handling job duties comparable to those outlined above is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic management principles involved in planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, production, and coordination of resources
  • Basic knowledge of store economics and budgeting
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and risk mitigation strategies
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem solving skills as well as judgment and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ethical, honest, and reliable behavior
