Accounting Clerk (Seasonal)
Anchorage, AK - Fully Onsite
Our client provides telecom engineering, design, maintenance, and tower construction services throughout the state of Alaska. The Accounting Clerk (seasonal) is responsible for supporting the Accounting and Finance team during busy seasons to coordinate and assist with financial activities like payroll, auditing timecards, and assisting in various Accountings Payable and Receivable projects, vendors, and carriers.
Are you interested in:
Data entry and completion of transactions regarding AR, and other regular accounting transaction as assigned.
Assist with AR billing and compiling backup documentation and spreadsheets
Assist Controller with special projects, analysis, and GL reconciliations
Provide Microsoft Excel expertise
Use computers for various applications such as database management, spreadsheets, & word-processing.
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information, and address complaints.
Assist A&F team with other tasks as needed in unstructured work.
Any other work for which you have the skills and ability to perform that furthers the goals of the company and meets the needs of its customers.
Preferably you have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary education, with degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
3-5 years of accounting experience required
Payroll/Finance Certification preferred
